Cortina d'Ampezzo, the Queen of the Dolomites, a Unesco World Heritage Site, is located at 1224 meters above sea level, and owes its fame to the 1956 Winter Olympics.
It is part of the international association Best of the Alps, which gathers the 13 most extraordinary destinations in the Alps. Cortina d'Ampezzo hosts numerous international sporting events, including the Alpine Ski World Cup and the La Sportiva Lavaredo Ultra Trail by UTMB®.
