Only athletes who have turned 18 on the date of the event can participate.

The medical certificate for competitive sports activity is mandatory for all race distances, as required by Italian law.
NON-ITALIAN ATHLETES
Non-Italian athletes must provide a medical certificate in accordance with the Italian law (DM 18/02/1982) or the form downloadable soon.
The medical certificate must be valid for no more than 12 months from the date of issue and it has to be upload to the Personal Dashboard from 10th January 2027 to 15th May 2027
The link to the Personal Dashboard can be found in the confirmation email received after registering for the race.
This certificate must be valid on 27 June 2027.
Failure to do so by this date will lead to the annulment of registration without refund.
ITALIAN ATHLETES
Italian athletes must upload a copy of the competitive medical certificate valid on 06/27/2027 to the Personal Dashboard from 10th January 2027 to 15th May 2027.
The link to the Personal Dashboard can be found in the confirmation email received after registering for the race.
Registered athletes are invited to upload only certificates valid on 06/27/2027.
The medical certificates accepted are those that report the suitability for competitive practice of the sport: Athletics.
In case of failure to upload the certificate by the indicated date, the registration will be permanently cancelled and no refund will be due to the competitor.
ITALIAN ATHLETES RESIDENT ABROAD
Italian athletes resident abroad must present a medical certificate for competitive practice of the sport "Athletics", pursuant to Italian Ministerial Decree 18/02/1982 and upload it to the personal dashboard from 10th January 2027 to 15th May 2027.
The link to the Personal Dashboard can be found in the confirmation email received after registering for the race.
This certificate must be valid on 27 June 2027.
Failure to do so by this date will lead to the annulment of registration without refund.

For safety reasons, runners must prove their experience before registering for the following races:
- Lavaredo 120K: UTMB Index 100K or 100M
- Lavaredo 80K: UTMB Index 50K, 100K or 100M
- Lavaredo 50K: UTMB Index 20K, 50K, 100K or 100M
- Lavaredo 20K: an UTMB Index is not mandatory. Runners have to have a MyUTMB Account >>

Elite runners can obtain a free access or direct access to the UTMB World Series Events and UTMB World Series Majors In order to give fair recognition to high level athletes and to ensure a fair management of entry applications, we grant acess to elites runners based on their UTMB Index in the category of the race they chose to compete.
- Elite runners must register during the registration period, no registration will be accepted after the deadline.
- All free of charge elites must register to a race at least 60 days before the race.
- Once a distance is sold out, the event organiser has the right to refuse an elite registration.
Athletes who have not been drawn twice in a row, for the 2025 and 2026 editions, have guaranteed registration for the 2027 edition, if they meet the required requirements.
Priority registration will be open from 7 September 2026 until 14 September 2026, through the registration page.
On 7 September 2026, eligible runners will receive a unique, personal and non-transferable registration link. Use this link to connect your My UTMB account and complete your registration and payment.
It is possible to pre-register as a group (from 2 to 5 members, even on different distances).
The goal of a group registration is for all members of the group to have the same result in the draw, which can be positive or negative.
The probability of being drawn for individuals or groups is identical.
The results of the draw will be available from September 15, 2026 in your MyUTMB Account >>.
Runners selected in the draw will have until September 21, 2026, at 23:59 CET to confirm their participation by completing the registration through the link available in their MyUTMB Account >>.
If you have the status “Waiting list” it means that you have not been drawn, and you must wait until September 22 for a possible second draw.
If instead you have the green status, “Positive draw”, you are among the lucky ones and can register immediately.
SECOND DRAW
If some of the selected athletes do not confirm their registration by September 21, all athletes not drawn will participate in a second draw to be held on September 22.
The result of the draw will be available from September 22 in your MyUTMB Account >>.
The selected runners will have until September 28, 2026, at 23:59 CET to confirm their participation by completing their registration through the link available in their MyUTMB Account >>.
Registration is personal and irrevocable.
Registrations cannot be transferred to another person or postponed to the following year for any reason.
Lavaredo 20K and Lavaredo 10K
The registration is non-refundable.
Lavaredo 120K, Lavaredo 80K and Lavaredo 50K
Runners who wish to cancel their registration will be partially refunded as follow:

Process for withdrawals
To request your cancellation, enter into your Personal Dashboard and click on "Cancel My Registration".
The link to the personal dashboard can be found in the confirmation email you received after registering for the race.
Our team will process your request and process the partial refund if it applies, according to the withdrawal conditions.
UTMB® strives to facilitate and encourage the participation of women in trail running races, and has therefore implemented a new policy concerning pregnancy which applies to all the events of the UTMB® World Series circuit.
