A short race but also the "nastiest" one, with steep climbs and technical downhills. The departure at 5 pm allows you to admire the colors of the Dolomites at sunset.
Having animals accompany participating athletes is strictly prohibited and will lead to immediate disqualification.
To address all the different possible climatic conditions on the day of the race, at their sole discretion and on the basis of the weather forecast provided by the competent body, the Organizers may modify the list of mandatory equipment. Any changes may be communicated up to 12 hours before the start of the race, therefore all athletes are advised to have all the mandatory equipment.
- race bib number visible during the entire duration of the race
- cell phone switched on with emergency numbers stored
- camelbag or water bottle holder with a capacity for at least half-litre of liquid
- waterproof jacket with an integrated hood
- cup, beaker or flask (there are no glasses at refreshment stations)
- appropriate footwear
Trekking poles are not permitted
In the Lavaredo 20K there is NO assistance with refreshments from family members/teams.
Athletes are required to run in semi-autonomy and must carry at least half a litre of liquid.
There is only one refreshment station on the race route:
• Malga Larieto (15th km).
Only athletes with a visible race bib number will have access to refreshment stations.
Food and drinks will be served by refreshment station personnel. Rubbish must be placed in the appropriate containers.
At the finish line there is another refreshment station.
Any purchase of food and liquids in the mountain shelters is at the athletes’ own expense.
To reduce plastic consumption, disposable tableware (cutlery, beakers, plates, bowls) will not be handed out at refreshment stations or life bases, thus athletes must bring their own cutlery and containers if they wish to eat hot/cold food.
