To collect race bibs, athletes must come in person with a valid ID.
Race bibs will be handed to registered athletes only.
Delegating this task to others is not allowed.

Olympic Ice Stadium, via Alberto Bonacossa 1, Cortina d'Ampezzo

Each athlete will receive a bag with their bib number in which to place a change of clothes to find at the arrival in Cortina.
Athletes must place the number card they received with their bib number on the bag. The bags must be handed in between 6.00 am and 6.30 am on Saturday 27 in Auronzo/Val Marzon, at the start of the race.
Only bags provided by the Organizers will be transported back to Cortina.
Bags may be collected between 4 pm on Saturday 27 June and (no later than) 12 noon on Sunday 28 June upon presentation of the bib number at the Olympic Ice Stadium, via Alberto Bonacossa 1, Cortina d’Ampezzo, where showers will be available.

Under no circumstances will the Organizers send uncollected bags to athletes’ residences. Bags that are not collected by the deadline will be immediately destroyed for hygienic reasons. Athletes are advised not to place objects of value in their bags. In any case, the Organizers accept no liability for any theft, loss or damage to bags or their contents.

After the arrival in Cortina, shower and changing rooms will be available at the Olympic Ice Stadium (via Bonacossa 1, Cortina d'Ampezzo), where bags can be collected from 4:00 pm on Saturday, June 27 until 12:00 pm on Sunday, June 28, upon presentation of the race bib.

To address all the different possible climatic conditions on the day of the race, at their sole discretion and on the basis of the weather forecast provided by the competent body, the Organizers may modify the list of mandatory equipment. Any changes may be communicated up to 12 hours before the start of the race, therefore all athletes are advised to have all the mandatory equipment.

• cell phone switched on with emergency numbers stored
• waterproof jacket with an integrated hood, made with a waterproof membrane like Goretex with minimum 10,000 Schmerber, designed to withstand bad weather in the mountains. (It is the runner's responsibility to bring a jacket that respects these criteria. In case of a check during the race, the steward or judge will decide if the jacket respects the criteria outlined in the official race regulations)
• headlamp with spare batteries or two headlamps with batteries
• footwear appropriate for running on Dolomite terrain (stones, rocks, gravel)
• to reduce plastic consumption, disposable tableware (cutlery, beakers, plates, bowls) will not be handed out at refreshment stations or life bases, thus athletes must bring their own cutlery and containers if they wish to eat hot/cold food
• energy bars or solid food
• at least 20€ to buy food in the Alpine huts if necessary
• elastic bandages for dressings

• a third layer (fleece, quilted jacket etc.) in case of particularly cold weather

Athletes are required to run in semi-autonomy and must carry at least one liter of liquid.

Assistance to athletes from family members or team members is only permitted in some refreshment stations, in the designated areas and with the agreement of the head of the refreshment station. Athletes may avail of assistance from only one person each.

There are 5 refreshment stations along the route:

Only one assistant per athlete may access the area solely once the athlete has arrived.

There are also two water points:
• Val di Cengia (8th km - stream)
• Malga Travenanzes (49th km - fountain)

Only athletes with a visible race bib number will have access to refreshment stations. Food and drinks will be served by refreshment station personnel. Rubbish must be placed in the appropriate containers.
At the finish line there will be another refreshment station; it will also be possible to have a hot meal at the Olympic Ice Stadium, via Alberto Bonacossa 1, Cortina d'Ampezzo.
There are several fountains along the route where athletes can refill their water supply. Any purchase of food and liquids in the mountain shelters is at the athletes’ own expense.

To reduce plastic consumption, disposable tableware (cutlery, beakers, plates, bowls) will not be handed out at refreshment stations or life bases, thus athletes must bring their own cutlery and containers if they wish to eat hot/cold food.

Pre-race
The Organization provides a pre-race bus service for athletes registered for the Lavaredo 80K who have booked the service, to reach Val Marzon/Auronzo di Cadore, the starting point of the race.

Post-race
Those staying overnight in Auronzo di Cadore can book a post-race shuttle which leaves Cortina (Olympic Ice Stadium) approximately every 90 minutes, starting at 6 pm on Saturday until 5 am on Sunday 29 June.

Booking for pre-race or post-race shuttle bus must be done by June 8th through your personal dashboard>>
